North of Clear LLC
Privacy Policy
Review draft · Not yet effective
1. Who we are and what this policy covers
North of Clear LLC (North of Clear, we, us, or our) is a Colorado-based coaching business. This policy addresses personal information in connection with our website, inquiries, discovery calls, scheduling, coaching packages, payments, business communications, and virtual coaching sessions.
We use Calendly for scheduling and coaching packages, Stripe for payment processing, Google Workspace for business email and communications, and Google Meet for virtual coaching sessions. These providers also have their own privacy notices and terms.
2. Personal information involved
Depending on what you provide and the services you use, personal information may include:
- Contact and scheduling information: your name, email address, and any other contact information you submit; appointment dates, time zone, selected services or packages, and responses to scheduling questions.
- Communications and coaching information: emails and other messages, goals, preferences, and personal or professional circumstances you choose to discuss. Coaching conversations can include sensitive information about relationships, grief, health, or work. Any intake records or coaching notes must be confirmed before this policy is finalized.
- Payment and package information: transaction status, purchased services, receipts, and billing information made available through the payment workflow. Stripe processes payment details; the exact information North of Clear receives or can access requires confirmation.
- Virtual-session information: information you share through audio, video, screen sharing, or chat in Google Meet. This draft makes no claim that sessions are or are not recorded, transcribed, or otherwise saved.
- Technical information: providers may process IP addresses, browser or device details, timestamps, and service activity. The website’s own logging, cookie, and analytics arrangements have not yet been verified.
Please avoid providing information unrelated to your inquiry or coaching needs, particularly sensitive information about other people.
3. How information is used
The proposed purposes are to respond to inquiries, arrange discovery calls and coaching sessions, administer packages and scheduling changes, provide coaching, process payments and refunds, send service-related communications, maintain necessary business records, and address legal obligations or disputes where applicable.
Review note: confirm these purposes against actual operations. Marketing emails, testimonials, advertising, AI use, and any other secondary use must be separately confirmed and disclosed, with consent or other requirements addressed where applicable. This draft does not assert that such uses occur or that they do not occur.
4. Third-party services and disclosures
Information relevant to the services you use is processed through the following providers. Their handling of information depends on their terms, their role in the transaction, and the business’s account settings:
- Calendly: scheduling and coaching-package administration. See Calendly’s Privacy Notice.
- Stripe: payment processing and associated transaction services. See Stripe’s Privacy Policy.
- Google Workspace and Google Meet: business email, communications, and virtual sessions. See Google Cloud’s Privacy Notice and Google’s Privacy Policy, as applicable to the account and service.
These notices describe the providers’ practices, not a guarantee about North of Clear’s settings or conduct. Following a booking or payment link takes you to a third-party service.
Disclosure may also be necessary when required by applicable law or a valid legal process. Any access by contractors, advisers, other recipients, or website-hosting providers must be verified and added where relevant. No claim about selling information or sharing it for advertising is made until those practices are confirmed.
5. External links
Other websites linked from this site have their own privacy practices. Review their policies before providing information to them.
6. Website Hosting, Cookies, and Analytics
North of Clear's website is hosted through Lovable, with Cloudflare providing content delivery and website security services.
Cloudflare may use strictly necessary security cookies, such as __cf_bm, to help identify automated traffic and protect the website.
Our website uses basic analytics provided by our hosting platform to understand website traffic and improve the visitor experience. These analytics may include page views, visit duration, approximate geographic location, device types, and traffic sources.
Analytics reports provided to North of Clear do not identify individual visitors. However, our hosting provider may process technical information, including IP addresses and browser information, to generate these statistics.
Our website does not currently use advertising pixels, third-party marketing trackers, or embedded booking and payment forms.
Website fonts are hosted directly on our website rather than loaded from Google Fonts.
When visitors choose to book a session or purchase a coaching package, they are directed to Calendly, where Calendly and Stripe process information according to their respective privacy policies.
If our website technologies or data collection practices change, we may update this policy accordingly.
7. Data security
No internet transmission, email system, or storage method is completely secure. Do not assume that email or video communications carry a guarantee of confidentiality or security.
Review note: describe only safeguards actually in place, such as access restrictions, account protection, device security, or secure storage, once verified. This draft does not promise encryption, a particular security standard, or specific safeguards implemented by North of Clear. Providers’ published security measures do not establish the business’s own configuration.
8. Retention and deletion
Retention needs may differ for scheduling records, communications, coaching records, and financial records. Applicable recordkeeping obligations and the need to resolve a dispute may affect when information can be deleted. Third-party providers may retain information under their own terms or legal obligations.
Review note: North of Clear must confirm its retention periods or decision criteria, deletion procedures, and treatment of backups and provider-held records. No fixed retention period or automatic-deletion practice is asserted in this draft. A package’s session-use deadline is not, by itself, a data-retention period.
9. Privacy requests and your choices
You can contact North of Clear with a privacy question or to request access to, correction of, or deletion of your information. Depending on the law that applies to your situation, you may have additional rights, such as obtaining a copy of information, withdrawing consent where processing relies on consent, or opting out of certain uses.
Availability of rights, exceptions, verification requirements, response deadlines, and any appeal process depend on applicable law and the business’s actual practices. Some records may need to be retained where legally required or otherwise permitted. For information a provider handles independently, you may also need to contact that provider.
Review note: confirm a workable request process and assess applicable laws, including whether the Colorado Privacy Act applies. Being based in Colorado alone does not establish applicability. This draft does not promise statutory rights, a response deadline, or an opt-out mechanism that has not been established.
10. Minors and processing locations
Review note: confirm whether services are offered to minors and, if so, the relevant age limits, parent or guardian involvement, and consent requirements. No adults-only practice or child-privacy compliance claim is assumed.
Providers may process information in locations outside your state or country, subject to their service arrangements. Confirm the client locations and applicable provider arrangements before making statements about data residency or international-transfer safeguards.
11. Changes to Our Policies
North of Clear may update its policies periodically to reflect changes in business practices, services, or applicable legal requirements. Any updates will be published on our website with a revised effective date. Where required by law, we will provide additional notice or obtain consent.
Changes will not retroactively alter previously agreed-upon purchase terms without an appropriate legal basis or the client's agreement.
12. Contact
For privacy questions or requests, contact North of Clear LLC at eliza@northofclear.com.
Review note: confirm that this existing business email will receive privacy requests and whether a business mailing address must be included. No street address has been assumed.
